1. DO I REALLY NEED TO HAVE MY GUTTERS REPLACED?
We highly recommend our clients that when they are placing a new roof or are getting their fascia boards replaced, that they also replace (not re-use) the gutters. Why?
The metal in the gutter is thin and easily dents and kinks. No gutter company wants to set up a situation where the client is likely to get angry if something goes wrong or the client is not happy with the end result.
2. DO I NEED A GUTTER REPAIR OR GUTTER CLEANING?
It is common for homeowners to confuse the overflowing of gutters to damages or improperly installed gutters. Many homeowners call within the first six months, that something is wrong with their gutters, and are surprised to hear that it is due to accumulated debris. There are tell-tale signs that the overflowing is due to a repair or time for a cleaning.
If the overflow of water is occurring at or near the downspout, there may be a blockage and it is time to get your gutters cleaned.
If the overflow of water is at the middle or at the opposite end of the downspout, then a repair may be necessary. Your gutters may be too small, have to be re-pitched,
